On February 18, 2025, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM, experience the beauty and storytelling inherent in his unique creations that bring natural wood and acrylics to life.

Begin your journey at the Welcome Center, where you can enjoy a warm welcome, before moving on to The York W. Bailey Museum to explore the exhibit titled "Homecoming: The Pyrography of Reverend Johnnie Simmons." This extraordinary collection features intricate pieces that narrate heartfelt tales of farm life, fishing adventures, classic Chevy trucks, and much more.

This exhibition will be on display until May 2025, providing ample opportunity to appreciate the artistry and cultural significance of Reverend Simmons' work.
